By French law, only three grape varietals are allowed to be used to make Champagne.

Pinot Noir that grows mostly in the Reims region gives the wine its strength, body, and red fruit aromas.

Pinot Meunier, grown in the Epernay area, gives suppleness and fragrance Chardonnay, a white grape that grows in the region from Reims to Epernay brings finesse to the wine. A Blanc de Blanc is made od 100% Chardonnay
